Motion on Word’s Orbit

                Before the inquiry began

the inquirer’s eye went into hiding...

            In the dark depths

            guarded by moist lashes

            the blood of sight

            stood stagnant....

            In it,

            the image of the sun

            showering yellow death

            Lullaby stopped abruptly

            the corpse of a kiss

            that drops from the lips.

            The Bodhi of the Buddha....

The alligator of the Adi Shankara....

            The white cranes of Gadadhara

In the spinal chord of the inquirer

stirrings of the Kundalini of knowledge.

In the foliage of the brain

            truth’s ejaculation of wisdom.

            The inquirer’s mind

            left the inquiry behind

            and turned towards meditation....

            On the acuity of consciousness

             a bunch of prophesies...!

            The prophet stood

            putting the arrow

fashioned of a slice of sun

            to the bowstring of darkness....

In the navel of all inquiries

            ended without a beginning

            a prophet will sprout

            then

            the blood-rain of prophesies....

1.The  tree under which Buddha sat to mediate and gain enlightenment

2.Adi Shankara is the great religious reformer who codified the Hindu Religion ridding it of a great many superstitions and horrid rituals. He was born in Kaladi, in central Kerala, south India. In his childhood, when he expressed the desire to lead a life of renunciation, his doting mother vehemently objected to the idea. One day, when he was bathing in the River Periyar, wth his mother watching over him on the riverbank, an alligator caught hold of his leg and pulled him out to the middle of the river. In fact, it was Lord Siva himself who took the form of an alligator to force the mother out of her resolve to hold back the boy. Sure enough, when the mother wailed aloud, the son blandly said the alligator would let him go if only she promised to permit him to renounce worldly life. The mother readily agreed!

3.Gadadhara: The former name of Sri Ramakrishana Parama Hamsa, who was the Guru of Swami Vivekanandha.
